This is something I am very proud of. I made this journal at a Books Arts Conference I went to last summer, which was a lot of fun. The book arts class I took over a year ago was really a great experience for me, and I would like to make more books more often.

This was supposed to be my journal for Scotland. Well, that didn’t happen, because after writing stuff on this blog, I don’t always feel like writing in a (not awesomely bound) journal. But these past few days, I’ve enjoyed the company. I wrote seven pages in it a couple of days ago. Anyhoo, it’s beautiful and I’m really proud of it. And making books is really relaxing. So yeah.

This has been Exhibit A: Laura procrastinating by vainly displaying silly crafts. Is there anything this girl won’t do besides sociology?!
